As the first of its kind in Australia and the most advanced indoor snow and ski resort in the world, we’ve gone all out to achieve design excellence. With a comprehensive interview process, independently run and assessed design competition and brief to deliver a uniquely Australian breathtaking design, we’ve achieved exterior and interior excellence in design.
We are proud that the Collins & Turner design pays sympathetic homage to the ancient Country on which Winter Sports World sits.
WSW acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Penrith area, the Darug Nation, and pay our respects to their cultural heritage beliefs and continuing relationship with the land. We would also like to acknowledge the post contact experiences of Aboriginal people who have an attachment to the Sydney area. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of Aboriginal people in the Penrith area. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
